Strange Victory Labs ("we", "us", or "our") operates the AvoCadabra mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information We Collect

AvoCadabra is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal data necessary to provide our service:

• Images: When you scan an avocado, that image is transmitted through our proxy server to our image-analysis provider (OpenAI) for the sole purpose of generating your ripeness result. The image is analyzed in real time and is not stored or retained — not by us, and not for training. It is the only thing about a scan that leaves your device.
• Device Information: We collect anonymous device identifiers and app usage analytics through Firebase Analytics (Google) to understand how the app is used and improve it. This is product analytics only — it is not used for advertising and not shared with advertising networks.
• Purchase Information: If you make a purchase, payment processing is handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not collect or store payment details.

How We Use Your Information

• To analyze avocado images and provide ripeness predictions
• To improve the app experience
• To send you reminder notifications (only if you enable them)
• To provide customer support

Data Storage

Your scan history stays on your device. Saved scans — the ripeness score, the name you gave the avocado, and the timestamps — are written to your device's local storage and are not uploaded to us. We keep no server-side copy of your scan history.

The one exception is the scan image itself, and only in transit: it is sent for analysis as described above, used to produce the result, and not retained afterwards. Nothing about a completed scan is stored off your device.

You can remove your data at any time with "Wipe All Data" in Settings.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• OpenAI: For AI-powered image analysis. Images are processed according to OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat: For managing in-app purchases.
• Firebase Analytics (Google): For anonymous usage and product analytics. No advertising identifiers are collected and no advertising SDKs are present in the app.

We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with data brokers, and we do not use it for cross-app or cross-site advertising. AvoCadabra contains no advertising SDKs, no attribution or tracking SDKs, and does not ask for permission to track you across other companies' apps and websites.

The third parties listed above process data solely to deliver the features described — image analysis, purchase management, and product analytics. They are not permitted to sell it.

Children's Privacy

AvoCadabra is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data stored locally on your device
• Delete your local data by uninstalling the app or using "Wipe All Data" in Settings
• Opt out of analytics (contact us for instructions)

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
